Ernesto's around the corner from where I live in Raleigh Hills. I was introduced to this place by a customer in the my real estate finance career years back. You enter and are greeted quickly. The hostess are usually mixing with several customers from to go orders to seatings etc. They are dressed nice for this kinda unassuming yet personality laden Italian space. I invite my self to the bar as you can get the full menu in the bar and seat yourself. The barkeep is always very friendly and attentive. They deal with many customers and I see some Oregon lottery games off to the side. Your typical neighborhood Italian joint. I order the rigatoni and a chianti. It comes with this 70s style Italian bread which should probably be changed. Non the less you can push that aside. The meat sauce has nice flavor. The wine... a nice house chianti. Open up as you go along which kept my interest as the meal went along which is one of my tests of a good wine is that it keeps your interest. The wait person/bartender always treats you well here. The regular guests doing their thing chatted eating conversing. I realize that this is a nice little being semi classy neighborhood Italian eatery. I bring guests here at times for a simple meal close to home.

The service was really good and professional. Salad bar was a cool touch as well but with there was an option to do all you can eat soup/salad or something because everyone loved the salad bar but only 1 time through. The chicken parm was HUGE and delicious! Love that for the side you can change to ravioli. It was a very cute vibe as it is a local family owned restaurant.

We've driven past this little shopping center countless times and never realized what a gem was hidden within! Ernesto s a delightful Italian restaurant with a surprisingly robust menu and tons of seating. I opted for the Portobello Parmesan, a delicious twist on a classic. As a lifelong eggplant Parmesan fan, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this version. The service was excellent, and our food was both hearty and delicious. We heard they're open on Christmas Eve, so we're already planning our return visit and making reservations well in advance, as we've heard it's a popular spot during the holidays.

This is our second time eating here. It's a great older Italian restaurant with typical choices. The bar looks fun and the main dining room has fun paintings and chairs on the wall (not sure why though!) Our server was very friendly and super fast. I had the garden lasagna with garden salad and he has meat lasagna and minestrone soup. Everything was very flavorful and we left full! You also get unlimited focaccia bread. They have oil and balsamic vinegar on table which was great.

What a wonderful lunch I had at Ernesto's. The service was excellent from the matre d' to the service person--friendly, competent, accurate. I enjoyed a well-plated Caesar salad followed by a hot, freshly-made, tasty dinner-portion Shrimp Scampi (ate every morsel!), and--delight of delights--a scrumptious lemon tiramisu. Fresh focaccia a plenty, 20 ounces of Fort George Vortex IPA and a good cup of coffee rounded out a fantastic meal. Highly recommend. I'll be back.

We were hosting a family birthday and decided to order from here. It was easy to look up the menus on line (however, pricing was not up to date on the menus). We ordered a 1/2 pan of fettuccini Alfredo and two focccia wheels with Marinara sauce. When we picked up the order we were concerned it wouldn't be enough for 12-15 people as deceived. We were pleasantly surprised that it served 16 and we still had some left over. The fettuccini Alfredo was good, as expected for this type of pasta. The focaccia bread was not your typical recipe for this. Is was a lot more firm and not very soft like you'd expect. We were a little disappointed. We did serve it with their marinara sauce and the sauce was great. Overall, it was easy to order and really helped with a larger party. The pricing was probably a little higher for the 1/2 pan but it worked. Looking forward to trying to dine in.
